Designer - rail industry - CAD - IRSE Designer Licence - design of signalling systems - some travel - based Birmingham - salary £25 - 30K

We are looking for a Designer to work in a technical position in the rail industry who has appropriate technical qualifications such as ONC/HNC and an IRSE Designer Licence.
Candidates for the position of Rail Industry Designer must be competent in the design and production of different types of signalling systems and proficient in the use of CAD
Working as part of the Design Section, the role of Designer (Rail/CAD/IRSE) will be to undertake detailed design of plans/diagrams/drawings to enable the successful delivery of contracts
Day to day duties of the Designer (Rail/CAD/IRSE) will include:
* Producing signalling design for new works and alterations to existing installations.
* Ensuring that design is carried out taking cognisance of appropriate technical standards/specification/procedures.
* Assisting with the testing and commissioning of signalling equipment
Ensuring that all work delivered is of an appropriate standard

Candidates for the position of Designer (Rail/signalling) may be required to work away from home
