Spares Account Administrator – engineering and technical - commercial & contractual aspects associated with supplying spares and services - automotive or aerospace background - production and supply chain management - based Bristol – salary £20 – 30K

We are looking for a Spares Account Administrator with knowledge of how to conduct customer enquiry, contract reviews and pre-job briefs etc.

A good general knowledge and understanding of commercial & contractual aspects associated with supplying products, spares and services is required and general awareness of production and supply chain management is of benefit

The Spares Account Administrator (Production/Supply Chain Management) will need to have a general awareness of the engineering and technical aspects associated with the delivery of complex, high quality and often critical items and parts

Familiarity with risk management and risk management techniques is beneficial and experience of customer service delivery in a high quality, technical products environment essential (preferably automotive or aerospace)

All candidates will need to have proven experience of administering, developing and growing customer accounts including handling enquiries, pricing proposals, orders and order acknowledgements

Experience of providing integrated logistic support type services is beneficial as is a degree in a relevant discipline and project management qualifications
 
The role of Spares Account Administrator (Automotive/Aerospace) will be to develop and maintain customer relationships for assigned accounts and to provide an efficient, effective and responsive spares service

Day to day duties will include:
• Acting as principal customer interface for assigned accounts stations for all spares related services and deliveries
• Maintaining working relationships through regular customer contact and visits
Handling, co-ordinating, tracking, compilation, pricing, reviewing and supplying tenders
• Supporting the spares business in meeting its goals and objectives
• Administering the receipt and acceptance of orders
• Undertaking report enquiry and order status to customer and internal stakeholders
• Acting as the internal voice of the customer
• Engaging with engineering to ensure appropriate identification, management and response to Obsolescence issues
• Coordinating, tracking & status reporting of customer clarifications, technical change requests, concession and concession requests and non conformance and corrective action reports
• Contributing to, taking ownership for and driving continuous improvements

To undertake the above, candidates for the position of Spares Account Administrator (Logistic Support) will need a positive can-do attitude and excellent interpersonal, communication and presentational skills

You should be able to present information clearly and concisely, and in a way that demonstrates understanding of the audience
