Principal Engineer – knowledge of VICTORIA Class (formerly UPHOLDER Class) submarines - materials, welding, hydraulic and pneumatic systems used on Victoria submarines - based Bristol – salary £40 – 48K

 We are looking for a Principal Engineer who has some knowledge of the VICTORIA Class (formerly UPHOLDER Class) submarine
 
Candidates for the position of Principal Engineer (Victoria Class submarine) should have knowledge of materials, welding, hydraulic and pneumatic systems used on applications for this submarine
 
The role of Principal Engineer (Victoria Class submarine) will be based in Bristol and be part of a team who are responsible for the provision of engineering support during the repair and overhaul, installation and setting to work of the systems in Victoria, Canada.
 
Day to day duties will include:
 
  • Checking and approving overhaul, installation and test documentation
  • Checking and approving deviations and concessions
  • Checking and approving manufacturing drawings
  • Attending design and peer reviews.
 
The successful candidate for the position of Principal Engineer (Victoria Class submarines) will need to satisfy Ministry of Defence security requirements.
