Project/Package Manager - oil, gas and subsea industry experience essential - extensive international travel (especially Holland) - based Northumberland - permanent and contract staff considered - attractive salary/hourly rate in line with experience

We are looking for an experienced Project/Package Manager in the oil, gas, subsea industries to deliver a package of work for vital projects for a company that works with clients across the offshore oil and gas, submarine telecoms and renewable offshore power industries.
 
These projects must be delivered from the supplier to quality, time and budget constraints and the day to day duties of the Project/Package Manager (Oil/Gas/Offshore industries) will include:

* Managing all project related activities with this key supplier
* Being the single point of contact between the company and supplier
* Attending and chairing progress meetings which will alternate fortnightly between the UK and Holland
* Providing weekly reports to the Project Director on the project's activities
* Liaising with project managers and lead engineers to ensure timely delivery of interface information
* Managing and directing Project Engineer(s)
* Maintaining documentary records
* Managing technical queries
* Identifying and managing long lead items to specified schedule
* Ensuring quality requirements are met in line with schedule
* Monitoring progress against schedule
* Managing the support, build, commissioning and delivery phases of project tensioners

International travel will be required.

The company's core expertise includes pipe and cable lay, subsea trenching and offshore handling and they deliver innovative equipment working in partnership with customers on projects ranging from fully integrated vessel systems to the rapid supply of sub-systems.
