International Sales Manager - fluent French speaking - export procedures - industrial business in an Export environment - office based with 30% of time overseas - industrial adhesives company - based Northamptonshire - salary c£35K & c£5K bonus and Life Assurance (3xbasic salary)

We are looking for a fluent French speaking International Sales Manager with a degree level education and a working knowledge of EU regulations to work for a market leading manufacturer of high performance industrial adhesives

Candidates for the position of International Sales Manager (French speaking) must have extensive knowledge of consumer, industrial business in an Export environment and excellent sales and account management skills.

You will also need to have good organisational, deadline and planning skills with regard to project management of long gestation projects, key-account planning, market planning and efficient overseas trip and daily planning and possess the ability to work as part of a team and liaise with internal and external colleagues.

The International Sales Manager (French speaking/Industrial/Exports) will be required to promote must have knowledge of all aspects of the sale through conception, order, shipping and credit control and be able to understand export procedures, international business and foreign cultures - their social, economic, political and religious differences

Reporting to the Group General Manager, the International Sales Manager (French speaking/Industrial/Exports) will be required to promote and execute sale strategies to existing and new consumer and industrial clients.

Day do day duties will include:

 Ensuring Sales and Profitability targets are achieved.

 Acting as a commercial spearhead to achieve sales growth.

 Establishing new accounts and servicing the existing account base

 Generating new business from personal activity.

 Gathering market intelligence on total market and competitor activity.

 Carrying out overseas sales visits, often alone, to support key accounts with their sales strategy.

 Implementing strategies to motivate customers such as promotions etc.

 Building long-term relationships and credibility and encouraging customer loyalty.

 Setting pricing for customers' requirements

 Pursuing new product and added value opportunities.

 Presenting new product introductions.

 Understanding application successes and replicating them in a campaign style within particular industrial markets.

 Gathering market intelligence and competitor information.

 Preparing a monthly report

 Coordinating distributor support and marketing programmes with the marketing department.

The role is office based with up to 30% of time spent travelling overseas.

To undertake this role, the International Sales Manager (French speaking/Industrial/Exports) must be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to project-manage and get results.

The company is very successful and rapidly expanding with impressive growth in global export markets. They have been awarded the Queen's Award for Export.
