We are looking for an engineer who has undertaken an
Appropriate Engineering Apprenticeship to work as a Calibration Laboratory Metrologist (Measurement Technology) for a company that provides measurement solutions to a variety of industries

The successful Calibration Laboratory Metrologist (Measurement Technology) must have experience of working in a
Standards Room and/or of Gauge Inspection Techniques of
Dimensional Calibration

This experience could have been gained within Engineering Organisations or at other UKAS Calibration Laboratories

Candidates for the position of Calibration Laboratory Metrologist (Measurement Technology) should be educated to HNC or equivalent in a technical/engineering subject

The role will offer the suitably qualified person the opportunity to join a dedicated team of Metrologists based at a Coventry UKAS Calibration Laboratory.

Duties will include the scheduled maintenance, calibration and certification of all Dimensional Reference Masters which the company uses both for their own internal needs and for those of their large customer base.

The position will also include the strict upkeep of procedures and exacting maintenance of records

The company offers a wide scope of accreditation and dimensional assessments, performed across their extensive range of own brand products and those of their competitors.

Hours of work are from 8.30am to 5pm.
